Lead Electrical Engineer 

Summary/Objective

DD DANNAR, LLC, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for Lead Electrical Engineer to be responsible for all electrical design, release and validation on the Mobile Power Station (MPS).

Essential Functions:

• • Performs and reviews the analysis and design activities in completing complex engineering design projects from general drawings and instructions. 

  • Directs other engineers, technicians, and ECAD team members in the production of packages providing detailed electrical designs for high and low voltage systems. 

  • Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and manufacturability of finished designs. 

  • Serves as lead engineer on projects.  

  • Performs thorough checking of electrical design packages.  

  • Mentor and help grow the department in experience. 

  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• 7+ years experience in electrical engineering 
• 3+ years experience in supervision of staff 
• Experience working with grid power connected systems and standards. 
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (can be completed upon hire). 
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at particular heights 

Preferred education and experience:

• • 3+ years’ experience running projects  
  • Experience with electrification of vehicles 
  • Power Conversion Experience 
  • Power Distribution experience 
  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • Lean Six Sigma Training – Green belt certification or higher

Work authorization/security clearance requirments:

Authorized to work in the United States.
